We stayed at Canyon Woods Resort Club from May 2â3, and overall it was a refreshing quick escape.
The scenery is definitely a highlightâsurrounded by pine trees, it gives off that relaxing, almost Baguio-like vibe. Our morning walk was one of the best parts of the stayâpeaceful, cool, and perfect for a bit of exercise.
The indoor heated pool was a bit of a letdown as it wasnât heated during our visit and seemed a little dirty. Good thing the outdoor pool made up for itâit was clean and enjoyable.
Breakfast buffet was just okay. We loved the tapa and picadilloâdefinitely worth tryingâbut the pancit and corned beef didnât quite hit the mark.
After checking out, we headed straight to Canyon Cove Hotel & Spa for a day tour. The large pool area was a big winâwe really enjoyed swimming there. The beach, however, wasnât as enjoyable due to tiny jellyfish, so we didnât stay in the water for long.
Still, the sunset at Canyon Cove was absolutely spectacularâsuch a perfect way to end the day.
Overall, despite a few minor downsides, we had a great weekend getaway and truly enjoyed the experience. Definitely a trip to remember!
